With over 120 years trading experience the Hamilton name is well known and respected in the plant hire and construction industries far beyond its immediate locality on the South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire Borders.
Originally founded in 1890 by William Enzor Hamilton under the name W Hamilton and Sons the company has grown and evolved over time, proudly upholding its strong family traditions whilst always seeking to advance and progress in an ever changing market.
Now Hamilton Plant Hire aims to serve the construction industry by offering the highest standard state of the art equipment for hire both self drive or with experienced operators. Substantial investment is made updating and enhancing our extensive plant hire fleet ensuring reliability and improving operator comfort.
Testament to this is our ever increasing loyal customer base.
Servicing and Maintenance
All our machines are thoroughly cleaned on return to our depot after each hire before being brought into our purpose built workshops, where they are inspected and maintained to the highest standards.
Regular inspections and servicing ensure reliability and minimise breakdowns.
